Shared Reactions Go Live

Learners have been using your reactions as a way to categorize your notes. But one of the things we’ve heard is that you’d love to know how are others reacting to the same material. Today we are making this possible. Not only will you see your own reactions, but now you’ll start to see these Energy Bars appear in any kind of learning material, from text to images, and even videos. They are the sum of you and your peers’ reactions. It’s a breakdown of how many of you found this to be Important, Interesting, Unclear, or Debatable.

And if you look at this closely, you’ll see there’s not just an energy bar, there’s a notes icon. What’s that? That’s telling us that someone in the class has not only reacted, but wanted to share their note publicly. Tap or click in and you’ll discover a space where shared exploration grows as more public notes are made.

And you can contribute to this conversation, too. When you make a reaction and leave a note, now you have the option. You can save privately to your notebook or you can make it public, where it lives not only in your notebook but also in this special shared space.

We believe that being able to learn in the presence of others moves learning forward for everyone. We can’t wait to see how you all add to one another's learning journey.
