3 New Things: Create

Close up of the icon to see "Sharing" and begin collaboration in Create

Collaboration

Sharing is live in Honor Create! This allows multiple instructors to build the same course together in real time without sharing logins. See this article for more details.

Terminology

  • Narrative is rich text used to introduce any material in a Topic (previously Instructor Commentary).

  • Prompts are quick check-ins and include File Upload, Short Answer, and Quick Poll (previously Widgets). More information here.

  • Description is where you can add guidance for students on how best to engage with the related material, previously called Caption. For more on editing material, see this article.

  • Commentary is additional context you can embed within material using either text or your voice (previously Instructor Annotations). See this article for more about adding Commentary to material.

Collective Prompts

Prompts now have the option to be collective, meaning once students submit a response, they can see how their peers responded to the same Prompt. This enhancement enables even more student engagement.
